Government releases resolution on September meeting

The Government has released a resolution on its September meeting, asking ministries, agencies and localities to boost growth, link markets locally and internationally and enhance social involvement in public service supply in order to fulfill socio-economic targets set for 2015.


Accordingly, the Government asked the State Bank of Viet Nam to closely follow up market changes, implement a flexible and effective monetary policy in companion with the budget plan in order to stabilize the monetary market and interest rates andboost export; take measures to foster credit growth while ensuring an appropriate and quality credit structure; as well as enhance innovation in poor-performance credit institutions, control and address bad debts.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment was required to work with other ministries, agencies and localities to mobilize resources for development, focus on removing difficulties, and speed up capital sources’ disbursement in major programs and projects.

The Ministry of Finance was assigned to collaborate with other ministries, agencies and localities to implement effectively financial and budget tasks in the last three months of the year; monitor closely loans; take synchronized measures to manage public debts; as well as enhance the fight against trafficking, trade frauds, fake and under-standard goods.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade was requested to take measures to link local and international markets, forecast and evaluate markets’ demand to boost consumption, especially that of farm products and sea food.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was urged to build suitable policies to encourage businesses to invest in agriculture and rural development; further develop chains of production, distribution and consumption; expand export markets for farm products and sea food; enhance innovation in breeding industry; and supply sufficiently and actively food for year-end demand.
In addition, the Government asked ministries, agencies and localities to implement effectively the master plan on restructuring the economy and other approved plans on restructuring sectors; better improvements in the investment and business environment; speed up equitization and boost socialization of public services’ supply.
The Cabinet members were required to follow up matters drawing attention from society and voters and actively respond to suggestions and questions by voters and National Assembly deputies while reviewing and realizing commitments to the National Assembly.
The Government agreed on leasing IT businesses on providing services on hardware, software, transmission line and solutions to help State agencies implement online public services.
The Cabinet also agreed on counting wage and specialized commissions in prices of medical services for health insurance beneficiaries.
In addition, the Government agreed to pause collection of fee on using roads to motor riders.
It regulated that the number of foreign channels should account for a maximum 30% of the total on-air paid TV and radio channels.
