U MINH THUONG
The upper U Minh lies in 4 districts’ areas: An Bien, An Minh, Vinh Thuan and U Minh Thuong. Its terrain includes the upper U Minh jungles, protective forest near the sea and fields with interlacing canal system which are favourable for waterway traffic, agriculture, aquatic and seafood development. The Roadway has Nam Ky Khoi Nghia road which is now the interprovincal Road 63.
The nature is abudant and land is rich thanks to consolidated alluvium each year. The life – line traffic axis from the district to Ca Mau City is Xeo Ro – Can Gao canal. The U Minh Thuong national forest Upper Uminh Thuong is the flooded forest, the same kind of forest as Amazon forest. There are many relics of Oc Eo – Phu Namculture here. It strength is argo forestry, quatic seafood and service.
We can travel to upper U Minh’s touristdestinations by high speed trains, passenger ships, car and motorbikes .
 
 
THE U MINH THUONG NATION PARK UPPEER ( UPPER UMIONH DISTRICT ):    
It was called “ Thap Cau” because there are 10 canals in line flowing directly into the gulfof Thailand. This is Viet Nam’s largest primitive cajuput jungle with the diversified fauna and bontanical system and it is also aone of three world’s biosphere reserve in Kien Giang. Tourist can go fishing, collect wild vegetables and eat traditional dishe. The management board of the national park sreve forest sightseeing and lunch at Hoa Mai lake.
 
U MINH THUONG REVOLUTIONARY BASE RELICS: ( VINH THUAN DISTRICT, U MINH THUONG, AN BIEN, AN MINH )
U Minh Thuong is the revolutionary base in the two wars of resistance againts the French and the USA. There are many places are the related to events, historical characters where tourists can learn about the legend U Minh’s human cultural history like the tropical almond turning point ( Cay Bang T – junction ), Ba Tau T – junction, Ke Mot, Bang Bien Phu ….
 
THE ARCHAERLOGICAL SITE TRAM DUONG TOWN TOUR ( VINH THUAN DISTRICT, U MINH THUONG ):
In 1944, the French archaeologist Mallere carried out the study and excavation of “ Tram Duong Town” which was an old habour and busy commercial transport of Phu Nam’s culture are found at Canh Den temple, Den Vua temple, Da Noi ( Float stone ), Keo Mot, Nen Vua, etc. Today, the archaeological sites are attractive destinations towards tourists who want to study about the ancient civilizations.
