Vietnamese tourists begin to visit Japan again

Monday, 02 February 2015

There are more family and individual tours than in the past when tours were mostly organized by companies or in groups.

“In November we had four tours to Japan, including two by individuals,” Tran Thanh Hanh, tour manager of Samurai Travel Company, said.

“It is easier to gather individual tourists for a tour than ever before because the number is rising sharply”.

Japan is launching promotion campaigns targeted at foreign tourists, including hotel discounts for stays of at least three nights.

Saigontourist said the number of customers it took to Japan has risen since October. It plans two tours to Japan during Tet (the Lunar New Year) this month.

Vietnam Airlines is offering discounts to Japan between December 21, 2011 and March 31, 2012.
