VN ready to help Cuba ensure food security

The Government chief shared with the guest Viet Nam’s typical agricultural production models and experiences, saying the Southeast Asian country is ready to cooperate with Cuba in food production, aquaculture production and processing.

The Vietnamese leader expressed his belief that the rice cultivation project, jointly carried out by Viet Nam and Cuba, would effectively contribute to ensuring food security in the Caribbean nation.

PM Dung also took the occasion to extend best greetings and wishes to Cuban leaders.

Earlier, the Cuban Minister held talks with Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat./.
