On Nov 16, 2015, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) coordinated with Kien Giang Province to hold a press conference on “Visit Viet Nam 2016 - Phu Quoc - Mekong River Delta” in Ha Noi.

  It takes five hours to reach the Nam Du Islands, 52 miles off the coast of Rach Gia, capital of the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang. The archipelago’s 21 islands, which can be reached only by boat, take up a total area of only 40 square kilometers.
The contest in honour of the 20th anniversary of Ha Long Bay’s recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage site has been organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Quang Ninh provincial Association of Literature and Arts.
